Who was Subhash Chandra Bose

Subhash Chandra Bose, a true Indian revolutionary and nationalist leader, is without a doubt one of the prominent names on the list of those who gave their lives to the independence of India.

Childhood And Early Life

So, Subhash Chandra Bose was born in the ridge of Odisha on the 23rd of January 1897. Out of the fourteen children of Janakinath Bose and Shri, Mati Prabhavati was the ninth children. Janakinath, father of Subhash Chandra Bose was a famous lawyer at that time.

Many were impressed by his legal practice to tell you that before he was a government lawyer, he started his own private practice. After this, he worked in “kayak” corporation for a long time and he was a member of Bengal legislative assembly.

Rai bahadur ‘s title was given to him by the British also. Subhash Chandra Bose also received patriotism as a legacy from his father. Janakinath, though a government official, joined congress sessions and played a strong part in public service.

Subhash Chandra Bose ‘s mother Prabhavati was the daughter of a family of orthodox Dutt in north Calcutta. She was a woman of strong will, intelligent and tactful character and at the same time provided for such a large family with great skill.

Education

Subhash Chandra Bose was very promising in studies since his childhood and completed his primary schooling from the Protestant European school at Cuttack, and in 1909 he took admission in the Ravenshaw collegiate school.

As well as Chandra Bose followed this in 1918 in philosophy from the Scottish College of the Calcutta University. Obtained the degree, then Subhash Chandra Bose took admission in Fitzvillium college in Cambridge to join the Indian civil services examination (ICS).

In order to fulfil the wishes of his father Janakinath, Subhash Chandra Bose had passed the examination in the fourth place and had a job in the department of civil service, but Subhash Chandra Bose could not perform the job for long because the job for Subhash Chandra Bose was something like working within a British government and had not accepted the job morally.

In order to win the war, Subhash Chandra Bose took the first step forward to launch the paper of Swaraj and took charge of propaganda for the Bengal provincial congress committee.

Netaji left the jail in 1927 and later developed his political career on the basis of his political career. Then Chandra Bose secured the post of general secretary of the congress party and started working with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
