It is analyzing, studying, verifying an issue, or subject for taking a proper decision, taking into account all issues involved.

This requires sufficient knowledge or information on the subject on which the decision had to be taken.

It is often argued that critical thinking should be taught very early in life, but with one narrow exception, that’s quite impossible.

The easiest definition of critical thinking is to be curious about things that seem wrong and asking questions that would lead to an understanding of why they’re wrong.

Now there is a process of This skill. So if you follow this process step by step then you can easily develop critical thinking skills in you.

What do I know

The first thing is that too aware of your knowledge. Ask yourself what I know about the situation. What information I have about this. It will help you to go in-depth and know very well.

So before making any decision you always have to think about in what brief you know your situation.  Now its time to think outstanding and become a critical thinker by applying this critical thinking process.

What is important

When you make a decision then you should think about it. What is important is based on your individual choices.

So, based on your goals, the things that would be important to you at different times and different stages of your life may differ. So, you can know what is important in some activities:

i. Being sincere to yourself about your needs, dreams and desires

ii. Separating your daily activities into the needs, dreams and desires.

These two activities will help you to know what is important and aid you in doing first the activities that will get your needs fulfilled, before moving to your wants and desires.

Now it depends on you. I know what is most important to me. Everything else comes way behind. I employ the practice of looking at the worst-case scenario when making important decisions.

What is missing

When you make a decision but not feel secure than back a step and see what is missing? Also in your life, Make a list (on paper) of what you think would comprise a ‘full life’. Compare your life to that list. Find the gap, if there are then determine if these have any appeal to you. Make a plan to do what’s needed to fill those gaps.
Now Close your eyes and envision what you have in life. Picture the people that matter to you. Picture your home, the roof that keeps you warm at night. Think about your health & personality. Now picture not having what you have. Picture being homeless, unhealthy and you will realize that nothing is missing. You will realize, all you are missing is your state of mentality. Maybe it’s a simple thought.

Action plan

  • Action helps you to get your dreams into reality. After all, it assures your dream is to make concrete. It describes the route your group will use its strategies to get its objective. In a simple way, a plan of action consists of a number of steps.
  • Each action step to be sought should include the following information’s:
  • What actions and changes will occur?
  • Who will carry out these changes?
  • When they will take place it, and for how long time
  • What resources (i.e., money, staff) are needed to carry out these actions and changes?

Some important tips for critical thinking

First and most important eliminate your assumptions

biases and prejudices about something. They are the enemies of critical thinking. It is all about being clear, accurate, and logical. Your assumptions, biased will make you come up with inaccurate conclusions.

Start questioning

Never accept anything that comes to your face as is. Critical thinking starts and driven by the why, what, how, when, and where behind things.

Just start questioning everything, even if it appears very clear.  Why is tiers’ color black? Why is the tractor’s front wheel small?

Start with the basics

It is the best one in the critical thinking process and works your way up. You need basic knowledge about something first before you get to the more specific complex issues.

Elon Musk says, treat knowledge as a semantic tree make sure you always understand the fundamental principles. If you don’t structure your knowledge, critical thinking would fail.

Think abstractly

This is absolutely crucial for all aspects of critical thinking. You should be able to identify the relationships behind things rather than getting hook up with this thing themselves. This is how innovative ideas are generated and problems are solved. you can also know what is abstractly thinking?

Zoom in and out on the things

that you are critically thinking about. In a sense, don’t be just very specific. The value of anything is determined by individual units that make up it.

And how well these units are related and work together. So you need to be in grips with the deep information and also well picture.

Conclusion

A critical thinker is observant, curious, and also confused always, but he can understand the problems or situations in different ways and give the best solutions. and I think this critical thinking process will be helpful for you.

He has the best point of view or opinion. Also, he has the simplest life on earth. A critical thinker is just like a monk who has a vision, ideas, and a Beautiful Mind.

When you start thinking logically and critically, there will be fast responses to your problems that you are encountering or you were about to encounter.

You would think of logical solutions and alternatives. Chances would become high that this world may become better.

Without thinking critically, you would be at the state that existed thousands of years ago, where people believed in everything that they saw and experienced as magic, not as natural phenomena.

Critical thinking

Critical thinking gives you the ability to form clear judgments to separate what is true and what is imaginary. It takes into account both your own internal experience and the external world.

The critical thinker is consistent, connects ideas, uses facts and logic judges the relevancy and irrelevancy of dreams and ideas, recognizes and avoids mistakes and preconceptions, form sound argument, analyzes and solve problems, and is able to explain and justify your own beliefs and conclusions to others.
