Why did I consider it a disease? Just because it destroys the human being gradually with its pace day by day, unknowingly we are entangling our brain wires leading to limiting ourselves to take actions calmly.

WHAT IS DEPRESSION? DEFINITION AND MEANING

Depression

As I mentioned in the initial paragraphs about this misery let’s carry on with some of its extensions.

Depression can be defined as the temporary negative controller of a human being which destroys and leads them to the negative paths resulting in destroying career, health ad relationships.

This is my definition of this melancholy standing with level of causes to an average human being.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had surveyed an American group of all the adults who were 19 and over, what they found in the report that 8.1 percent of American adults as suffering through depression in the given 2 week period, starting from 2013 to 2016.

1HIGH LEVEL OF MOOD COMBUSTION

Depression causes mood disorders, you will attract anger at a pace with on the little silly mistakes committed by someone or yourself. Resulting in loss of energy levels. Most of the time a feel dehydrated when he/she experiences the rage.

2 – LOSS OF INTEREST

JIMMY:- “I don’t know why I love playing football but I am seeking no interesting in
playing any sports game”

The above statement highlights the facts of suffering from depression, losing interest in all the activities which you love to do, it doesn’t count all the sporty things but also your routine work.

Even I have experienced this for almost a year, it all started with my studies, I used to love calculus in mathematics, later I came across a major disaster in my life, which completely ruined my 1.5 years of life.

3 – LACK OF SEXUAL INTEREST

It is particularly common among the couple in which one person is facing depression.

There can be many reasons through which a person loses interest in his/her partner. There are many divorce cases regarding this only topic. The couple should seek medical attention before taking any action of control.

Pornography and depression, I believe to write this point under the Subheading of Sexual interest and behaviour.

We spent around two days researching this individual topic and I was shocked by the results that Google has shown me.

I and my team don’t know to what extent is this true or not, What I came across is, people who consider watching porn as a sin, are most prone to depression,

I have no idea why that particular website mentioned this fact and it was agreed by doctors and psychologists who upvoted the statement.

4 – CHANGE IN SLEEP PATTERNS

It causes major fluctuations in the sleeping patterns, A person is unable to sleep comfortably when he/she is suffering from it. It hampers the sleep hormone Melatonin which secrets in the brain giving signals to sleep for some decided hours as per your body clock.

5 – FATIGUE

Depression covers your body with its blanket remaining nothing. All the
symptoms written above concludes fatigue in a human’s body! Inviting many
diseases like Cardiovascular diseases, Heart diseases, Panic attacks, and etc.

6) BECOMING LESS SOCIALISE


A person who used to socialize in any surroundings he enters inclusive of making
friends, creating a good network with other people, establishing strong
relationships. Then he/she encounters depression in the mind-shattering everything he made in his past,

when a person becomes uninteresting, people started dropping him, very few of them asks about the reason.

How to overcome depression

Finally we are here to encounter depression with some wonderful solutions being prescribed by the famous psychologists across the world.


1) PHYSICAL WORKOUT

I do mention this point whenever I start writing a blog related with the self improvement niche.

Early morning workout resulting in releasing serotonin ( A gland responsible for happiness ) and regulate the flow of stress hormone namely cortisol!

Rigorous morning exercise not only protects us from falling in the trap of depression, it provides multiple benefits in the human body, stretching body muscles and so the brain muscles.

Exercise brings soothing Behavior and resulting in re-developing relationships with the closed ones being lost due to depression.


2 – ABSTAINING FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER TYPES OF DRUGS

This is the most important point pointing to many youngsters who consumes alcohol and drugs for the temporary pleasures. Most of the people take sleeping pills when they underwent sleep deprivation.

These harmful medicines or drugs result in releasing dopamine which is the hormone of temporary pleasures. It impacts on major health issues and damaging their liver.

Consumption of alcohol, beer, smoke, and drugs brings negative changes in your mind and body pertaining to destroy your life with temporary happiness and leads to unnecessary sorrows and pain.

SAY NO TO ALCOHOL, SAY NO TO SMOKING, SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY NO TO BEER.

3 – SAY ‘NO’ TO AVOID USELESS SUGGESTIONS AND OFFERS.


Mentioning the word ‘NO’ here is to reflect the fact of avoiding unnecessary stuff into the account. We should keep a log of the positive activates related to the goal.

These are some of the affirmations being carried by my me when I was suffering from depression for the last 1.5 years. This point is one of the major contributors when it comes to relieving depression of any human being.

This is my belief as I study psychology for the past 2 years, where I studied, whatever your mind can conceive it can achieve, relating to the fact of not thinking negatively, not to fetch any negative thought which leads to depression ranging from the initial point to devastating health.
