The Garment Manufacturing Industry is a major part of this industry.

Manufacturing means a process of making any products for goods. So, garment manufacturing means making garments.

Garment workers are mainly involved in finish dresses.

Fabrics come to the manufacturers form the fabric suppliers(either the textile sector or fabric wholesalers and retailers),

Then the company make dresses from those fabrics by following the above processes then a company called the garment manufacturer.

5. How to Get a Job in the Garment Industry?

If you really want to work in the industry you don’t need extraordinary degrees because this industry always looking for skills than a degree.

The industry itself a massive trade industry so hardworking is a big factor for everyone. You really need to be a very hard working person to start with this industry, even in a small company.

The industry offers various job like admin, data entry, inventory work, management work, accounting, in the production department, packaging, marketers and sells person.

A graduate can apply to small or large manufacturing company for back-office work or admin, data entry, inventory, products measurement work etc.

Basic Computer knowledge also required for those jobs. Everything is digital now, somehow the garment industry still continue work with the traditional way.

Experience matter. As long as you work, your value will gain. One can get a higher salary in the base on the experience and skill. How long he or she is working in this industry and how much expert he or she is.

For Marketing and sells, required an experience of this field with a degree of required position(partially).

Fibre wise almost 80% production made by cotton and almost 15% made by synthetic or mixed fabric and rest of made by silk and wool.

I’ve been working in this industry for almost 5 years. so, in my experience trust and skills, both are the most essential things. I have known some person who been working in this industry for 30-35 years and some of more than 35 years. Once a person started working after that no one wants to leave (exception is always there).

So you can choose as a career in this industry. It has less stress, most of the time don’t need to carry work on home(if you have talent).
