5. How to Get a Job in the Garment Industry?

If you really want to work in the industry you don’t need extraordinary degrees because this industry always looking for skills than a degree.

The industry itself a massive trade industry so hardworking is a big factor for everyone. You really need to be a very hard working person to start with this industry, even in a small company.

The industry offers various job like admin, data entry, inventory work, management work, accounting, in the production department, packaging, marketers and sells person.

A graduate can apply to small or large manufacturing company for back-office work or admin, data entry, inventory, products measurement work etc.

Basic Computer knowledge also required for those jobs. Everything is digital now, somehow the garment industry still continue work with the traditional way.

Experience matter. As long as you work, your value will gain. One can get a higher salary in the base on the experience and skill. How long he or she is working in this industry and how much expert he or she is.

For Marketing and sells, required an experience of this field with a degree of required position(partially).

However, Skills are more important than the degree. If you have skills, you can get in this industry(age and degree, not highly recommend). This industry is all about skills and skills.

This industry exports its production by 25% and the rest of 75% is for domestic usage by volume.

This is the second-largest employment provider after agriculture.

If a person could able to work on a team and he or she is honest, active, hard-working and have the skill of understanding, adopting fast then that person will get extreme level of success in this industry.

I’ve been working in this industry for almost 5 years. so, in my experience trust and skills, both are the most essential things. I have known some person who been working in this industry for 30-35 years and some of more than 35 years. Once a person started working after that no one wants to leave (exception is always there).

So you can choose as a career in this industry. It has less stress, most of the time don’t need to carry work on home(if you have talent).
