The mindset of an owner and society about car

According to a study by Ipsos, many Indians also show interest in second-hand cars due to to less depreciation.

These kind of people understand the value of money.

Also, buying second-hand car is not a bad option if you get a good deal.

Second-hand car can save you from lot of paper work(registration, RC, etc).

Many studies and researches also show that Indians out of the whole world spend more money to show off with luxury goods.

It’s not just about buying expensive cars but also other luxury things like iPhone, laptop, AirPods, etc.

Another Example:

When Porsche announce that they are launching their Electric Vehicle TAYCAN model.

It’s not that foreigners won’t show off.

They also do, but with that they also understand the value of money.

As a research conducted by University of San Francisco in North America they found out that every 3 out of 10 people irrespective of any age buy things just to show off.

Hence it is proved that most Indians treat their materialistic things like luxury and show off with them for a very long period of time.

Long time debates are going that this showing off habit is not produced over night but it evolved overtime.

And it continues from hundreds of years by our ancestors.

And also if we see in today’s world this habit is increasing because of western lifestyle.
