Many people own cars whether in India or in foreign countries but how they treat their cars is something interesting to read about. What is their mindset about car?

What is Mindset?

mindset is a set of assumptions, methods, or notations held by one or more people or groups of people. A mindset can also be seen as arising out of a person’s world view or philosophy of life.

To understand the Indian market completely we have to understand different kinds of people’s mindsets living in India.

Majority of Indians buy luxury to show off which we can see in our daily life.

For example, if you have a group of friends there is one friend of yours using the iPhone in most cases they use the iPhone just to show off.

According to the study, it shows that 4 out of 10 people in India by bye bye-bye phone 102 show off.

1. Had you ever show off your things like phone, car, bike, etc.?

2. Have you ever spend money just to impress someone?

3. Have you ever did something in front of anyone just to show them which you actually don’t wanna do?

I hope you know your answers. These questions are somehow describe our habits and mentality as well that what we are doing is right or wrong?

But is show off wrong?

Maybe yes or maybe not. Actually this question doesn’t have a right answer.

Some people who say showing off something is not good actually shows off the most when it comes to them.

Everyone has their own opinions as per their experiences and beliefs.

According to a study by Ipsos, many Indians also show interest in second-hand cars due to to less depreciation.

These kind of people understand the value of money.

Also, buying second-hand car is not a bad option if you get a good deal.

Second-hand car can save you from lot of paper work(registration, RC, etc).

Many studies and researches also show that Indians out of the whole world spend more money to show off with luxury goods. 

It’s not just about buying expensive cars but also other luxury things like iPhone, laptop, AirPods, etc.

When Porsche announce that they are launching their Electric Vehicle TAYCAN model.

They are so confident that rich Indians will pay a huge amount for this car their car to show off in society.

And as a result, few days after launch announcement, Porsche get many advance bookings.

It’s not that foreigners won’t show off.

They also do, but with that they also understand the value of money.

As a research conducted by University of San Francisco in North America they found out that every 3 out of 10 people irrespective of any age buy things just to show off.

Conclusion 

Hence it is proved that most Indians treat their materialistic things like luxury and show off with them for a very long period of time. 

Long time debates are going that this showing off habit is not produced over night but it evolved overtime.

And it continues from hundreds of years by our ancestors.

And also if we see in today’s world this habit is increasing because of western lifestyle.

Well this is a straight question.
It is complete waste of money to buy things just to made an impression to someone.
All time advise is to not spend a penny if its not worth it because money is difficult to earn but easy to spend.
