The first rule to keeping the garden healthy and clean is to keep it pest free. The simple way is to keep the system clean and free from the debris. The indoor system is not much affected by the weather condition but the outer hydroponics system needs to face a number of problems due to weather change. Rain, wind, and insects can harm the plants and give a bad effect on the system.

Pest is not only the problem in the outer hydroponics system but birds and small animals are also problems for the system. A period of rain can infect the plants due to the increase in humidity. If you live in a geographic area where such weather conditions frequently change then, a greenhouse with climate-controlled systems is the best way.

Fungi, Algae, and Disease

fungus and slime are mainly grown in the warm, damp condition in an indoor hydroponics garden. Excessive moisture in the air on the leaves or inside the growing medium can built-in grow fungi and mold outbreaks.

When there is moisture on the surprise of the leaves then there are chances of growth of fungus and other infectious diseases. Nothing better works then the constant airflow in the system to avoid germination of these types of diseases.

Algae in hydroponics

Dead leaves, spilled water and nutrients, dust is the main source of the growing fungus. To prevent the fungus, first Discard dead leaves from the garden. You should Wipe up spills and dirt right away.
