What Is Google AdSense?

Google AdSense is an advertising platform or I can say it is an advertising publishing program.

That allows a website, blog,  or youtube channel owner to monetize it by placing ads on their website or youtube channel in the form of Text, Image, and Video format.

Then, you can make money online by showing ads on your above-mentioned platforms.

How Google AdSense Works?

As you already know that AdSense is an advertising platform. That gives you some share money of ads that you place on your website or blog.

It provides you a text code of an ad that you can place on your website or WordPress blog wherever you want.

And, when any user come to your site and clicks on the particular ad then you will get the money for that click.

You can see these ads are available on desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices.

For example:

When you do keyword research or anything on the internet then google shows you some results.

And, when you open any website then you see different forms of content like Texts, Images, Videos, and Ads as well.

Well, there are several types of requirements or eligibility criteria for every website or blog.

And, you have to understand that every requirement and regulations are most important for everyone who’s applying for AdSense and have to follow each of them.

So, today I’m going to share with you each requirements step by step.

1. Your Age.

You age have to be 18 years old.

2. Gmail Account.

You should have an active Gmail account that you can use for applying AdSense.

And, make sure that it is not linked with any AdSense account previously.

3. Have a Website or Blog.

You need to have a website or blog to apply for AdSense account or Google AdSense publisher program.

And, most importantly your website should follow all the AdSense guidelines. Don’t know what are these?

If you follow these step by step guidance that I’m sharing from my personal experience then you can get AdSense approval very quickly and easily.

Here’s how.

Google AdSense Program Policies

I have mentioned below all the Google AdSense Guidelines.

You should follow these guidelines in order to make money online.

1. Invalid Clicks And Impressions.

You are not allowed to click on your ads. And, cannot encourage anyone to click on your ads.

2. High-Quality And No Copyright Content.

You may have heard that Content Is King. That’s why Google wants high-quality content.

Your content should be unique, understandable, and better than any content which is available online.

It doesn’t mean that you can’t create content that is already available.

You can create again on a similar topic if you have more knowledge in that particular topic and can give the user more information than the one already available.

But, It should be more detailed and unique.

And,

No copyright content means that you cannot copy any other’s content on your website or blog.

You should have your unique content.

Please note: If you think that you can create your content by copying small parts through different sites then you should aware that Google is very very smart.

Google will know easily by using their software and will never approve your AdSense request nor rank your content.

3. Use a Custom Domain.

You should have your custom domain name. The custom name means YourWebsiteName.Com, .In, .Net, .Co and .Org

If you use your custom domain name then the chances of AdSense approval are higher and your blog post can rank faster.

However, if you use YourWebsiteName.Blogspot.Com then you have to wait for at least 6 months to apply for an AdSense account.

4. User-Friendly Website.

Your website design should be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and mobile-friendly.

That can help the user to access every part of your website.

5. No Copyright Image.

Make sure your website doesn’t have any copyright images.

Copyright images are those images that you use from any other website to your website or from google images.

However, you can create your picture or find and use copyright-free images.

You can visit and use images from these websites unsplash.com, pixabay.com pexels.com for copyright-free images.

6. Number of Posts.

Well, it’s not written anywhere that how many posts you should have on your website before applying for AdSense account.

However, as per my personal experience.

You should have at least 15-20 high-quality content posted and each post should contain between 1000-2000 words per post posted on your website and only then, you may apply for AdSense.

No hurry, have patience and take your time to write beautiful SEO friendly content.

7. Website Should Have Important Policy Pages.

Your website should have these important pages like About Us, Contact Us, and Privacy Policy.

8. Google AdSense Supported Languages to Make Money Online.

Your website should be in the Google AdSense Supported Languages.

Below are the supported languages.

9. Unauthorized Blogs or Topics.

Your website or blog should not have any unauthorized content or topics such as.

• Software downloading.
• Mobile app downloading.
• Movie downloading.
• Abusing Content.
• Drugs.
• Gambling.
• Malware
• Cracking.
• Hacking.

Google may not place any ads nor approve your AdSense account request.

If your website traffic is coming from unauthorized websites as mentioned in the above previous point.

Also, traffic should not be auto-generated or bots.

However, it doesn’t matter how many original visitors are coming on your website.

You can increase your website traffic using social media, google search engine, and from quality backlinks.

 11. No Black Hat SEO.

Black Hat SEO is mainly when you make so many irrelevant backlinks or buy backlinks from any other websites to gain authority.

So make sure, you avoid this practice.

 12. Unsupported Other Ad Networks.

If you are using unsupported ad networks then make sure you remove all of them before applying for AdSense as Google doesn’t support these.

I have mentioned these ad networks below.

• Infolinks – Innovative Ads Powered by Intent.
• BidVertiser – Direct Advertising Network.
• Pop-up Ads.

And, if there is any Affiliate ads or Media.Net ads then remove them also before applying for AdSense.

However, you can use both of them after your website has been approved by Google AdSense.

 13. Remove Broken Links.

Make sure your website or blog doesn’t have any broken links. And, if there is any then remove them before applying.

Broken links are known as 404 Not Found or 404 Error pages.

14. Sitemap.

You may have many pages and you have written so many posts but how can Google know how many pages or posts you have?

So, for this, you need to submit the sitemap of your website in Google Search Console that can help Google’s crawlers to crawl your website’s pages and blogs.

15. Provide Valid Credentials.

When you apply for the AdSense publisher program then they provide you a form in which you need to fill your current valid details such as.

• First and Last Name.
• Full Address.
• Mobile Number.
• Govt. Approved Identity Card.
• Pan Card.
• Bank Details (in which you want to receive your earnings)

Make sure, you provide them all authentic details, else they will refuse your request if they found any error.
