Both Pubg Vs Fortnite are Battle Royale Games. A Battle Royale Game is generally an online multiplayer game where the player has to explore in different areas, find themselves resources like guns, clothes, ammo, attachments, and compete with other teams until a player or a team becomes the last man standing and they become the winner.

Pubg launched in March 2017, and Fortnite, launched in July 2017, is the example of the Battle Royale Game. Having the same concept of gameplay, the game is quite similar.

Let’s cover Pubg first. Pubg has real life-like graphics which makes its gameplay more relatable and intense. Pubg’s realistic graphics give a good gaming experience. 

Coming to Fortnite, its graphics look more animated than being realistic. It is generally regarded as a genuine cultural phenomenon. But the color in Fortnite is more vivid and clear than its counterpart. 

Fortnite might look more animatic but who stands out in the war of graphics between Fortnite and Pubg graphics depends on personal opinion or personal judgment.

Currently, Pubg has four maps v.i.z., Erangel, Vikendi, Miramar, and Sanhok. All the maps have different weather and environment. 

Erangel is the most famous one. It is an 8*8 km map with different areas in it like hills, houses, bridges, rivers, etc. Some of the famous locations in Erangel are Severny, Multa, Georgopol, Pochinki, School, Prison, Sosnovka Military Base, etc.

Miramar gives a new Battle Royale experience with its unique terrain and dense cities. There is also an island to the south-east region, home to smaller villages. Some of the best locations in Miramar are Water Treatment, El Pozo, Valle Del Mar, Impala, etc.

Coming to Fortnite, the map in it changes with every season by adding or removing new areas. Till now there is no notification about Fortnite’s new maps or new locations. But we can expect them to more maps to the game in the future. 

Thus Pubg has more playable maps than Fortnite. It gives the player more options and chances to play this game. Further, the maps of Pubg are very well designed and decorated. Thus, we can arrive at the decision given maps, Pubg is far better than Fortnite.

The platform is one of the most important characteristics of a game. Some games are designed so that they can run on multiple platforms like PC, Xbox, etc. The more platforms a game can run, the higher the players it will get. Consequently, a video game company always tries to make its game work on many platforms. But some of the games are exclusive and can run in one platform only. The cost of a game is another factor that is responsible for its popularity. If the cost is too low, the developers will not get enough money to continue the game or provide updates. If the cost is too high, a few players will likely purchase the game. So the cost can also determine whether the game will be a success or not.

As of 2020, both the games have their mobile versions. Pubg and Fortnite, both are available on Playstore and Appstore and are free to download.

For PC versions, things are different. Fortnite PC is free to play. You can enjoy the game without paying any money. But some features will be restricted. You can purchase their Standard Edition for $39.99, Deluxe Edition for $59.99, or the Super Deluxe Edition for $89.99.
