So you can do anything that you want to do and you can change anything that you want to change. There is no more restriction after rooting your phone so you got full control over your device.

Install custom ROM (OS)

>> After rooting your device you can install custom ROM. It means you can update your android version for example marshmallow to Oreo.

If you have marshmallow android version then you are not able to change without getting any official update but when you root your phone then you can change into Oreo without getting an official update.

So this is the way to update your phone manually without getting any official update.

Uninstall pre-installed Apps

>> When you buy any phone then you get some applications inbuilt and you are not able to uninstall them. But when you root your phone then you can uninstall those applications.

There are many ways to uninstall them but here I’ll suggest you download “System app remover” from Google Play Store after rooting your phone. This app allows you to uninstall those pre-installed applications.

Boost Your Phone’s Speed and Battery Life

>> After rooting your phone you can boost your mobile’s speed as well as battery life also. There are many ways to do that but here I’ll give you a simple way.

First, you have to root your phone and after that, you have to download “Greenify” from Google Play Store.

And this application will help you to increase your phone’s speed and battery life.

Install “Incompatible” Apps

>> When you root your phone then you can install some applications from the Google Play store. Some of them are mentioned in the 3rd & 4th advantages. You can find more applications from Google Play Store and also from Google.

You have to search ‘Apps for rooted device’ and you find many applications for change fronts and boot animation, you can install custom fronts and also boot animations.

>> When you go to your friend’s place and you find a Wifi there and you ask him for a password but instead of giving the password, he takes your phone and connects it and gives you back so now you are not able to see that password.

But your phone is rooted then you download applications for it and you can see that password.

Stock OS Backup

>> After Rooting your phone you can take a backup of your stock OS. If you want to install custom ROM then you have to take this backup because if anything goes wrong then you can install your primary OS.

When you install any higher level ROM and it does not support your phone very well then you have to use this backup and get your original OS back.

>> When you root your phone then you have to say goodbye to your warranty because it is not officially to root your phone.

3. Security Risks

>> When you root your phone then your android shield is gone so there is a security risk is increases. If you are aware of technical stuff then you don’t have to fear. You have to take care of viruses and all. You don’t have to download anything from Google if it is not safe.

4. Fear of Bricking Your Device

>> I know you are not an expert in this field so, something goes wrong then your android system is brick. You lost your android OS and you have to install another one.

5. Viruses and Bugs

>> After Rooting your phone you get full control but your android protection shield is broken, If you are a non-technical guy then most of the chances are you got some viruses in your phone and any digital thief can hack your phone because of some bugs.
