What is Rooting?
In simple word, “Rooting is the process to get root access of your android operating system”
We know that our phone has an operating system and most of them have Android OS. Our Smartphone companies are not giving us full access to our phone like we are not able to uninstall pre-installed apps.
We are not able to change our OS (ROM) manually, so these restrictions come with our phone and we are not able to do anything to change them. But the rooting process is the only method to break all the restrictions and do whatever you want.
Sounds good, isn’t it? But some problems occur like we lost our phone’s warranty, we are not able to get updates and many more.
But on the other hand, we can do many things manually like we can install OS manually without any update, We can uninstall some pre-installed apps.
Here I’ll give you a brief detail about the advantages and disadvantages of rooting your phone. If you want to know more about rooting and all stuff then stay tune.
Advantages of Rooting in brief:

>> It means you can do whatever you want to do with your phone like you can install custom ROM, custom Recovery and also custom fronts and boot animations.
So you can do anything that you want to do and you can change anything that you want to change. There is no more restriction after rooting your phone so you got full control over your device.
Install custom ROM (OS)
>> After rooting your device you can install custom ROM. It means you can update your android version for example marshmallow to Oreo.
If you have marshmallow android version then you are not able to change without getting any official update but when you root your phone then you can change into Oreo without getting an official update.
So this is the way to update your phone manually without getting any official update.
Uninstall pre-installed Apps
>> When you buy any phone then you get some applications inbuilt and you are not able to uninstall them. But when you root your phone then you can uninstall those applications.
There are many ways to uninstall them but here I’ll suggest you download “System app remover” from Google Play Store after rooting your phone. This app allows you to uninstall those pre-installed applications.

>> When you go to your friend’s place and you find a Wifi there and you ask him for a password but instead of giving the password, he takes your phone and connects it and gives you back so now you are not able to see that password.
But your phone is rooted then you download applications for it and you can see that password.
Stock OS Backup
>> After Rooting your phone you can take a backup of your stock OS. If you want to install custom ROM then you have to take this backup because if anything goes wrong then you can install your primary OS.
