Salman was born on 27 December 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. His father’s name is Salim Khan is an actor and screenwriter. His mother’s name was Sushila he also a stepmother his name was Helen she is a great film actor and dancer. He has 2 brothers Arbaaz khan and Sohal Khan and two sisters’ names are Alvira and Arpita.
Salman did his elementary schooling from Scindia School, Gwalior after completing elementary schooling. He went to St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra, Mumbai to complete his secondary schooling.
He takes admission himself to St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai to complete his graduation. But he dropped his studies as he wanted to become an actor. Along with his friends, Sajid Khan and Chunky Pandey learned acting from Daisy Irani’s acting institute.

Blackbuck hunting case (1999)
Salman and his co-star’s team of Hum Saath Saath Hain accused of hunting black deer. Thus the Jodhpur court convicted Salman under the Wildlife Protection Act and sentenced him to 5 years.
After which taken into custody on police and sent to Jodhpur Central Jail. At the same time, the court acquitted Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam, Sonali Bendre, and Jodhpur resident Dushyant Singh.
Hit-and-run case ( 28 September 2002)
On 28 September 2008 Salman’s car rammed on the pavement in Mumbai. One was killed and three were injured. The matter reached the court. He said that the car driver was driving while people said that Salman was driving drunk. On 6 May 2015, the court convicted Salman and admitted that it was Salman who was driving drunk. The court sentenced Salman to five years.
His relationship with Aishwarya Rai (2002)
