Twenty-20, which is also stated as T-20, is the shorter format of cricket which came into existence in early 2003 in England. The first Twenty-20 match is played on 5th August, 2004 between England and New Zealand women.
This format is basically started by England and Wales Cricket Board(ECB) for an inter-county championship. Later, this format gained success as of its early results and action-packed thrill. Pakistan Super League is an annual T-20 league played in UAE and Pakistan and the league is managed by PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board). The league was started in 2016 in UAE (United Arab Emirates) where Bakhtaran Bhutto-Zardari, alongside Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, inaugurated the opening ceremony. The first season of PSL was supposed to be played in 2015 but some reasons it was delayed. The first season of PSL earned a profit of 2.6$ million reported by the official.
