What is transcendental meditation

Sitting position 

Comfortably sitting is so much important in this meditation because sitting comfortably is a thing that plays a very important part of this meditation.

You can choose a chair to sit comfortably. Sit on a chair with your feet touching the ground, and put your hands on your lap. Relax your arm and legs and leave them uncrossed. 

Do before meditating

Before starting meditation, close your eyes and relax your body for five minutes and take deep breaths to calm your mind and body.

 Then open your eyes slowly and after that keep them closed for the next 20 minutes for the meditation session.

Start meditation

After closing your eyes choose your Mantra like home or mantras from your religion that must be not very loud and start repeating for the next 20 minutes.

 You may find that there are so many thoughts piping in your mind, gently return to your mantra. The main thing is you have to practice consistently for 6 to 8 months so that you will do it yourself.

Do after meditation

After completing the meditation session try not to stand up immediately. After completing meditation before opening the eyes, move your fingers and toes slowly and feel them.

Open your eyes slowly, not very fast, then touch your face with your hand gently.

   Then stand up from your chair slowly and start working around that place. try every time you should not go for your work immediately. After doing meditation, do a 5-10 minutes slow walk to maintain your body calm for some time.
