Life story of Virat Kohli

Virat was born on 5 November 1988 in Delhi. His family was Punjabi his father’s name is prem Kohli he is a lawyer his mother’s name is Saroj. He has two siblings one elder brother and one sister.

His mother said when Virat was just 3 years old he always wants to play cricket with his father. Because Virat Kohli is very good at cricket his Neighbors and friends always told him don’t waste your time playing cricket on the road you need to join any good cricket Academy.

Due to repeated calls from neighbors and his friends Virat’s father got Kohli to join the Delhi Cricket Academy. When he is just 9 years old he gets training from raj Kumar Sharma. He also very good in his study according to his teacher he is a very bright and brilliant child.

Early cricket journey

He start his career from October 2002 when he was selected for under 15 cricket team. This is the first time when he was playing professional cricket for Umrigar trophy in the year 2004

He was selected for the under 17 Delhi cricket team. He plays in Vijay marched trophy this is a four-match series in this series  Virat made 450 plus runs. On 18 December 2006, his father was expired from brain stroke. This accident very big effect on his life.

In July 2006 he selected in under 19 Indian cricket team and his first international tour in England in his tour Kohli made 105 runs in 3 matches. In march 2008 he selected for under 19 world cup team captain. Virat had to do the captaincy in the under-19 World Cup in Malaysia and Virat Kohli performed very well in this world cup.

In 2009 Virat selected for Sri Lanka tour. This time he gets a chance to play in India cricket team. When team India openers Sehwag or Sachin Tendulkar was out then Virat Kohli gets a chance to bat. On this match, Virat Kohli makes his first one-day fifty. India won his series nowadays Virat Kohli is an Indian team captain in all three formats.

BCCI broke rules

In 2015 when Virat was the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, he was seen talking to his girlfriend Anushka Sharma in the box during the match against Delhi Daredevils in the IPL This was in violation of BCCI rules and he was found guilty. This controversy also became media headlines. However, he was released only by the warning.

Outrageous speech with journalists

In the year 2015, when the Indian team was practicing in Perth, then Virat raised controversy by calling the Journalist of Hindustan Times bad. Actually, that journalist had written something about Anushka Sharma, for which Virat was angry. Kohli not only shouted at that journalist but also uttered abuses. 

That the journalist did not write anything about Anushka Sharma. Rather Kohli had a misunderstanding. The BCCI, which initially supported Virat, finally gave a warning to Kohli. While he apologized to the journalist for his bad behavior.

Mess with smith

The Australian team came on a tour of India and during this time the dispute with Smith took a big toll. Controversy with Anil Kumble

Virat tension with former India captain Anil Kumble also took the form of controversy. Kohli and other cricketers did not like Kumble’s discipline, which did not give him freedom in the dressing room. When it came time to give Kumble as coach and time, Virat did not give his consent. 

Eventually, Ravi Shastri got the coach position. While under Kumble, the Indian team had a lot of success, especially in the Test. After resigning from the coach’s post, Kumble himself said that ‘there was a lot of talk between him and the captain’, so it was better for him to go away on his own.
