ERA OF 1960s
The era of 1960 produced superstars of the film industry like Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar. They were the Trimurti of the Indian cinema at that time.
Dev Anand
Dharamdev Pishorimal Anand often known as Dev Anand was an EVERGREEN SUPERSTAR OF 1960S.He came to Mumbai with a dream Becoming an actor.

But to earn the bread and butter he consequently joined the Army. Eventually, he became an actor and after that, he worked with famous film directors.

Eventually, his name became a worldwide phenomenon. In 1970 his large fan following and the choices of films made his career went to the next level and made him a superstar of the film industry

In the era of 70s and 80s trend of action and masala films started instead of romantic films. And all the superstars of film industry were following that trend.
AMITABH BACHCHAN
This is the name When it comes to the personality of an angry young man. Amitabh Bachchan entered the film industry in the mid-sixties.

In the period of 1973, Bachchan was a 30-year-old man who had given 12 flops and only two hits. From the two hit films, one film was Bombay to Goa and another with Rajesh Khanna’s Anand.
In 1973 the famous writer duo Salim Javed came to meet Amitabh Bacchan with the script of Zanjeer.
Both were trying to convince Amitabh Bachchan as a lot of actors had already rejected their script. Because actors didn’t want to change the cute romantic boy image that they build in the industry.
Eventually, Amitabh Bachchan did the film Zanjeer and from that film, Amitabh Bachchan was given the title of Angry Young Man.
In the same year 1973, He married to her wife Jaya. He had also, worked with his wife in various films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Abhimaan.

In Sholay, Amitabh shared the screen space with Dharmendra. Both portrayed the role of jay and veeru respectively. This film turned Amitabh Bacchan from the superstar of the film industry to the megastar of the industry.

In my personal view this era of superstars of the film industry is my favorite.
Till 1980 the film industry was ruled by Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, and many more actors. But the era of the 1990s changed it completely.
As I told you that In 1970 and 1980 only action films were being produced. However, in 1990 the game changed and again the romantic pictures were begun to be made.
Salman khan
This happened with the entry of the greatest superstar Salman Khan when he made his debut with the film called Maine Pyar Kiya which was a big hit.

Overnight he was the heartthrob of the country. Then he did the romantic drama Hum Apke hai Kaun in 1994 which changed the game of Indian cinema.
He is also given the title of ‘BHAI’, Tiger of Bollywood, Sultan of Bollywood. He has given many top grosser Hindi film of all time i.e Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tiger Zinda Hai as a result he is one of the biggest superstars of the film industry
