1. All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS)
AIIMS is a medical school, hospital, and research university established in 1956 and located in New Delhi. AIIMS is also the first institute to successfully performed the cardiac transplant in 1994.

Christian medical college is more famous for its name CMC. It is a private medical college and research institute founded by Dr. Ida Sophia Scudder in 1900 in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
Furthermore, this college is more popular for its first reconstructive surgery for leprosy in the world in 1948 and the first to perform open-heart surgery in India.
Moreover, CMC was also received a public health champion award by WHO in 2015.
