- Hetronuclear molecules – If two atoms are different in each other as in carbon monoxide atom (CO) then they found hetronuclear molecules.
2. Polyatomic molecules
Molecules that contains more two or more than two atoms then they forms polyatomic molecules. For example carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
3. Polymer molecules
Molecule that contains many thousands of component atom are formed polymer molecules.
The ratio of atom that bounded together to form molecules is fixed. It is possible for same type of atoms to combine in different but in a definite proportion to form different molecules like as
Two atom of hydrogen (H2) will chemically bond with another atom of oxygen to form water (H2O) molecule.
