Similar Web is a competitive market intelligence firm that shows the analytics data of your traffic. Mostly it is an SEO and SEM tool as it deals with traffic, site’s reach, and ranking.

It converts raw data into engaging and insightful website metrics, which include traffic sources, organic vs paid search, social traffic, related sites, and more.

In default view of the web (audience overview), Similar Web shows website traffic for the past six months.

History of Similar Web:

It was started back in August 2007, in their garage, and won the first Israeli Seed camp in January 2009.

In the year of 2015, they opened their office in the US in February, reached 200 team people in July, and Awarded 2nd most promising start-up in Israel for 2015 in October.

Apart from all these, present they operate with a team of 400 people with established offices on 4 continents.

And it analyses 80 million websites + 3 million apps with 240 categories and 60 countries.

    Next create your free account.

    Then go to the site you want to analyze and copy its URL

  4. Return to your site

    After that again come into your similar web account

  5. Click on Enter

    Finally, paste that URL you have copied in the Analyse bar/ search bar

    Then you will get access to the various data that you have to take care off.
