For example: To sell anything we will start the advertising(making use of newspapers, magazines, Television, Radio) to promote our product which is called “CAMPAIGN” in our force.com platform.

Service Cloud: we know that service is one which is helping the end-user for the better functionality of the product ..Service cloud is an application that can help to manage a call center.

Example: When a customer calls in concerning product or service, in the application you have created the service manager register all the complaints in the object which is known as CASES.

Later, then he looks for the solution(object) and asks the end-user to follow his instructions in rectifying the problem.

Custom objects	1. These are the objects which are created by the user depending upon the user requirements 2. These objects can be created or deleted with prior time depend on usage. Examples: can be of any object type like Book, pen, house, laptop, bag, building etc
External objects	1.These are similar to the custom objects 2.It allow to map the data from outside the organization
